But you know that one scene in Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things where Loras hands Sansa the rose and Ned recoils? And everyone was like ‘Lol that awkward moment when Ned thinks Loras was about to give him a flower’?

What if he was remembering what happened the last time he sat next to a female family member (Lyanna) who received a rose from a knight in a tournament (Rhaegar)?
